The Attendance Alias feature allows you to rename teams and processes while keeping the system logic intact.
The system is internally built around Teams (Team 1, Team 2, etc.) and Processes (Pro1, Pro2, etc.), and aliases provide flexibility for different departments.
Set Team Alias
You can rename Team 1 (or any team) to match your area or department name.
However, when making team leader or member changes, the system still relies on the original team number (for example, Team 1).
Important:
Even if Team 1 is displayed as SPS Area, any member assigned to that group must still be set to Team 1 in the system.
Example
If Team 1 is aliased to SPS Area and you want to move a member into that area, you must:
Search for the member.
Assign them to Team 1.
This will place the member into the SPS Area.
Set Process Alias
This works the same way as Team Alias.
For example, you can rename Process 1 (Pro1) to Sub-Assy 1 for display purposes, while the system continues to treat it as Pro1 internally.
